Top 5 Best Printer For Stickers:
Printer for Stickers #1: The Epson EcoTank ET-3850 Printer
- Type: Consolidated
- Category: Inkjet
- Page per minute (mono): 15
- Capacity for paper: 250 sheets
- A4 or less paper size
REASONS TO BUY :
- The Printer for Stickers Including a large amount of ink already included, excellent print quality, a robust app, and a high ink capacity
CAUSES FOR DISREGARD
- No touchscreen – No dual scan
The ‘EcoTank’ series of Epson printers comes with a large quantity of ink pre-filled in bottles. Based on our testing, the Printer for Stickers included ink can print about 70 standard print cartridges’ worth of pages in colour and 14,000 pages in black & white. You can also get replacement bottles for relatively cheap. When compared to competing all-in-one printers, this goes a long way toward explaining why this EcoTank model is more expensive.
The EcoTank’s ADF (Auto Document Feeder) allows it to handle sheets of blank labels, making it a perfect choice for mass-producing stickers. The printer is also capable of handling 250 sheets simultaneously. The image quality is outstanding, which is crucial when making your own stickers; however, the top speed of 15 ppm isn’t really remarkable compared to its rivals.
Although the screen is simple and easy to use, navigating it requires using the printer buttons, which is the one drawback of this Printer for Stickers. There is no display keyboard, which can make entering WiFi passwords quite impractical. The good news is that the EcoTank can be linked to your home wireless network using the Epson Smart Panel companion app.
Printer for Stickers #2: Canon’s Pixma Pro-100S photo printer
An inexpensive picture and sticker printer that can handle A3+ paper
- DETAILS Model: Inkjet Printer Section: All-in-one
- Produces 9.7 pages per minute (mono)
- Accumulation of paper: 150 sheets
- Up to A3 size paper
REASONS TO BUY:
- The Printer for Stickers are Great monochrome and colour prints – Quick turnaround – High-quality construction – Affordable price
CAUSES FOR DISREGARD
- The ink is relatively expensive – The quality is uninspiring on matte media
- Inks made with dye are not as durable
In 2012, Canon introduced the Pro model, which was made to print high-quality images. To do this, it employs an 8-ink dye-based system that produces prints of a professional standard.
However, you can manually feed paper or use the dedicated tray for photo paper. Although it is a bit dated now, it should have no issue running off your stickers because it allows printing onto CD/DVD labels.
It also prints with USB and WiFi. Via PIXMA Cloud Link, the PRO-100S can print directly from online picture storage services like Facebook, Dropbox, Google Drive, and OneDrive.
The Pro-100S prioritizes quality above speed because it is a premium printer. The fact that it can print off a single borderless 6″ x 4″ picture in under 34 seconds gives me hope that it can handle a lot of sticker paper.
Having to spend a hefty penny for such high-quality prints is the sole actual complaint about this printer. It could still be worth it if you often print images and stickers.
Printer for Stickers #3: HP Officejet pro 8034e
An efficient sticker printer
- DETAILS Classification: Convenient
- Category: Inkjet
- Speed: 20 pages per minute (mono)
- Max. sheet capacity: 225
- A4 or less paper size
REASONS TO BUY:
- a Printer for Stickers subscription service for ink, and quick printing times
CAUSES FOR DISREGARD
- Cartridge vendor lock-in
The HP Officejet Pro 8034e is a good option if you prefer straightforward sticker printing. Amazingly, this cheap printer can produce as many as twenty black-and-white pages every minute.
If you want to take advantage of HP’s “Instant Ink” service, your printer may notify the company when you’re almost out of ink and place an automatic order for replacement cartridges. You can recycle your old cartridges and have them shipped for free.
Direct HP purchases come with a complimentary six-month subscription to Instant Ink; however, the Amazon description incorrectly states that this is a one-year subscription, so you should double-check with the seller before making a purchase.
If you want to scan and print your stickers from anywhere, you can use the HP+ Smart App. One exciting feature of this printer is its “self-healing” WiFi, which can apparently detect and resolve connection problems on its own. If you’d rather not mess with it, you can also connect to the 8034e directly using a USB or Ethernet cable.
You may still install the cartridges manually, even though the Instant Ink program is more convenient. However, HP warns that their printers are only compatible with their cartridges and will try to block cartridges that use non-HP chips or circuits.
Printer for Stickers #4: Brother MFC-J6955DW
Get rid of stacks of stickers
- Category: Multi-Use Type: Laser
- Maximum print speed: 30 pages per minute (mono)
- Five hundred plus one hundred sheets of paper
- Up to A3 size paper
REASONS TO BUY:
- The Printer for Stickers has two paper trays, full A3 capability, quick duplex printing, and high-yield cartridges.
CAUSES FOR DISREGARD
- Photo quality is poor; printing speed is slower than with some lasers; cost is more than with an ink tank;
- Consider the Brother MFC-J6955DW if you’re planning on making a lot of stickers.
A hybrid of the conventional ink cartridge and a tank loading mechanism akin to Epson’s EcoTank, Brother’s “INKVestment Tank” combines their respective strengths. These oversized cartridges connect the bottle ink and cartridge systems, as we discovered during the sticker printer test.
Assuming you print less than 3,000 black pages and 1500 colour pages per year, this Brother Printer for Stickers comes with a year’s supply of ink. Using Brother’s own XL cartridges further increases printing gains, increasing the maximum number of pages printed from approximately 1500 to 5000.
Brother claims a print speed of approximately 30 pages per minute, and our testing confirmed this. The ADF (auto document feeder) and two paper trays significantly contribute to this speed. When printing on picture paper, though, the colours didn’t pop quite as much.
Also, this printer might not work if your house or business is really cramped. Due to its weight of 52 lb (24 kg), installing and maybe relocating it would require two individuals.
Printer for Stickers #5: Epson SureColor P900 17- Inch
An affordable apex of print quality
- Type: Printer that prints in colour
- Class: Light-Emitting Diode
- There is no rating for print speed.
- Maximum number of sheets: 120
- The paper size can be up to 17 inches.
REASONS TO BUY:
- The Printer for Stickers produces prints of exceptionally excellent quality. It can also print on larger sheets.
- The machines transform into matte black.
CAUSES FOR DISREGARD
- High-priced, time-consuming to print
Graphic artists were the primary target audience for the P900, as they were for the P700 and P800 series that came before it. The fact that it can print on pages as wide as 17 inches (43.18 cm) is the most telling indicator of this.
Although, unlike the P700, it is not intended to print directly onto CD/DVD labels, as stated on the Epson website, it can print on a variety of papers. Still, if you’re intent on making professional-grade stickers, this shouldn’t be an issue.
The P900 deviates from the conventional 4-color cartridge CMYK arrangement by including a minimum of 10 colour cartridges. The “10-color archival pigment ink with an expanded colour gamut” is how Epson puts it.
What this means in layperson’s terms is that it employs a unique printhead with multiple nozzles, each of which can release ink droplets of three different sizes. To achieve a clearer image, the printer uses two distinct channels for photo ink and matte black ink.
The speed penalty is inevitable when dealing with ten cartridges, the use of which varies between different print jobs. It may take up to two minutes for more extensive photographs to print completely, but printing speeds for stickers will definitely be faster.
The only remaining issue is if you can rationalize the exorbitant cost of having stickers with such excellent print quality.
